- The appraisal by the different potential raters will be gathered and thus it will bring more accurate result since many people have rated those employees, so a common point will help to get a more valid result.
- There will be no room for bias rating since not all people have grudge or problem with that employee.
- Employer will get to know on which point employee need correction and will improve that area base on different raters view.
Disadvantages:
- Since there is many raters are involved it will take more time to get the result from all of the raters.
- Employer will have to collect lots of data which will interrupt operations of the company and routine work will be bothered.
- It can be possible that result from different rater will come different and there may be a chance that there are no common point between all the raters since they all have different perception about the employee.
