Your book states that we must never be afraid to try something new, but fear is the single most obstacle to our professional creativity.

Yes, i do agree that fear is the single most obstacle to our professional creativity. There is always a fear in the mind of the professional that his efforts might not lead to negative results. While making a creativity idea, fear gets our attention immediately.

Some of the points that why we afraid to be creative in our tactics are as follows -

1) Doubting ourselves - Sometimes, people even doubt themselves that they're even creative or not and that creates terror in their mind regarding themselves.

2) Fear of failure - This is one of the most important reason that why people are afraid to be creative. Failure is always a possibility in anything and it is the biggest fear among people.

3) Fear of being observed and judged - Fear of being observed and judged also stops the people from being creative. They feel that if there plan won't work then what will people say about him and will judge hia creativity.
