With reference to the above, critically discuss the business case for corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environmentally sustainable business practices ?
• The business develops its CSR to make sure that the long term business interest like the health and well being of the people that are working and the one the business is serving is given the highest priority.
• CSR helps the business to develop itself with time and technology which suits the business needs for the place it is in and the people associated with it.
• Nobody forces a business to do CSR but the benefits that the business and the people associated with it as stakeholders would help them to do make them offer CSR as a business norm.
The environment sustainability via CSR:
• The environmentally sustainable business practices make the business to adapt and innovate the most responsible business environments which are sustainable for business practices.
• The CSR helps the business to identify the best ways to conduct the business without polluting the air Water and soil of the place that it is operational in. the care of the environment would lead the business to develop the tree plantation to avoid the carbon footprints the measure of CSR which in the long run would help its cause of sustainable development.
• The generation of the best and most suitable manpower would make the business invest in manpower development which looks for long-term sustainable development.
