What makes online social change so different than other types of social change efforts?
Online social changes are different than other types of social change efforts because online social changes are on a virtual platform. These online changes different than ground reality of the changes which are actually happening physically and in reality.
Why is it harder for online social change efforts to be successful?
It is harder for online social changes to be successful because they are not directly involved with reality. Here, people are connected and are expressive but very few of them involve themselves physically to push and lead the change. So, after few time, people refrain from these changes and forget their impact in practical sense.
How could you incorporate online efforts into a larger movement?
Through awareness, we can incorporate online efforts into a larger movement. For this we need to design programs, campaigns, involve leaders as well as influential people. We can also raise an online petition which people can sign to exhibit their support and unity to bring a social change.
