What does the Office of Minority Health do and what resources does it provide?
The Office of Minority Health Resources center is a nation wide service of the Office of Minority Health that provides minority health literature, research and refferals for consumers, community organisations and health professionals.
It is dedicated to improve health of racial and ethnic Minority populations through development of health policies and programs that will help eliminate health disparities.
The Resource center offers a variety of information resources, including access to online documents collection, database and funding searches and customised responses to requests for information.
The CMS Office of Minority Health offers a comprehensive source of information on eliminating health disparities and improving health of all minority populations like racial and ethnic minorities , people with disabilities, members of the lesbian,gay, bisexual and transgender community and rural population.
