  • Agriculture, forestry and fishing: The agriculture and forestry workers are facing many problems related to their health conditions like work related injuries, lung disease, skin disease and some certain cancers are related to the chemicals that are used in agriculture. For fishing, many people went to sea or oceans for their livelihood for these they are risking their lives.
  • Finance, real estate and business: These are the necessities that ensure the safety and comfort.These are the main things that affect our lives for earning wages.
  • Hotels and restaurants: Specific guidelines are issued for establishing hotels and restaurants like food safety, accommodation, facilities for the customers etc. The preventive measures of accidents and incidents are taken accurately in the hotels and restaurants
  • Manufacturing: This sector includes all the manufacturing processes of various products. Most of the people risk their lives in the industries like steel plants, chemical industries etc. Mostly in chemical industries most of people may be injured due to the explosion or chemical attacks.
  • Mining, quarrying and extraction: This is one of the highest fatality rate sectors because of the underground mining operations. some operations like blasting, thermal power operations, explosions etc are included in these sectors.

  • Public services and statutory authorities: statutory authorities is a body set up by the law on behalf of the country rules and regulation. This includes public services, public transportation facilities, safety regulations for the public etc.
  • Utilities - Gas, Electricity, Water and Sanitary Services: These are the most essential services for everyone in their daily life. This plays a vital role in economic and social development. The safety measures are also required in these sectors because of the electricity short circuits, water pollution, gas explosions etc.
  • Wholesale and retail trade: The facilities can be provided in bulk in the wholesale shops. The preventive measures must be taken like prevention of work related violence, vehicle crashes, improving occupational safety for the workers etc.
