Remove Clicks with Audacity:

The below procedure will help you to reduce the unwanted Clicks from your recording:

After recording your album, locate an area in the recording where no music is playing. This would be at the beginning of the recording just before a song starts, between songs and just after songs.

Step 1. After recording your album, left click with mouse the grey area in front of the wave form.

Step 2. Select Effect and the Select Click Removal.

Step 3. One window will open, Threshold fader adjust how loud a click or pop just before it is removed. The Max spike width fader adjusts how long in duratìn the click or pop must be before it is removed.

Step 4. After satisfied with your setting select the Remove Clcks btton.

A status window will open advising of the status of the click ŕmoval.

Step 5. If you are not satisfied and want to start over select Edit and Undo Click Ŕmoval.

Step 6. Once your are satisfied with the noise removal Select File and Save Project to save the changes.
