Question No 2: Installing a Hard Drive:
There's no need to do anything in BIOS you can simply do it on your normal active pc this will recognize any size of hard drive and install it and if you are concerned with BIOS you must not make any change in your BIOS let it remain as it is as it was with old drive.
You may have issues when installing a hard drive there's a
possibility that your PC may not recognize the hard drive or may
not display the correct amount of disc space.
To correct this issue you have to search something called "DISK
MANAGEMENT" on your pc. Her you can see your unrecognize hard drive
here you can see your newly hard drive is portioned into 2 parts
right click on the tag which says your drive name e.g "Drive D" and
click on Convert to GPTDisk now partition has ended now you have a
complete block of your memory now matter how size it is.
Now you have to make your drive active right click on the memory
block and click on "New Simple Volume". Name the drive and then
click on finish.
Now your computer recognize your drive
