Identify one screening process you would recommend the hiring manager uses to find the best applicants. Explain why you selected this screening process.

Phone interview

After receiving applications for a particular job and going through the applications, the manager can find the most relevant applications and call those applicants. The phone interview can help the manager in assessing the knowledge and skills of the candidates without having to call them for face-to-face interviews.

This phone interview can help the manager in determining which candidates are best suitable for the company based on their replies over the phone. The chosen candidates from this interview can be interviewed face-to-face.

This will reduce the time to conduct face-to-face interviews as only the screened candidates will be asked to attend. Thus, making face-to-face interviews less tiresome and more effective in hiring the right candidtae.
