- Afforestation.

- Use of biodegradable material instead of plastic.

- Use of mass transportation.

- Treatment of chemicals before release from industries.

- Switching to renewable sources of energy like solar energy.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Afforestation:- Afforestation means planting more and more tress. Now as we know that plant and trees take carbon dioxide from atmosphere and release oxygen . Thus, if there will be more number of trees then carbon dioxide level of Air will certainly reduce and hence the air pollution will reduce.

use of biodegradable materials instead of plastic:- biodegradable materials are easily degraded and do not accumulate in environment , so they do not cause pollution. But non-biodegradable materials like plastic do not gets degraded easily, and causes pollution like pollution of soil.

Use of mass transportation:Mass tranport is a means of transport in which a large number of people can move from one place to other, like bus, metro, train. Use of mass transportation can significantly reduce the pollution of air, which is generated by huge number of private vehicles. Moreover it will also reduce the consumption of fossil fuels.

Treatment of chemicals before release from industries:- chemicals should be treated before they are released from industries so that it could be less hazardous to the environment.

Switching to renewable sources of energy like solar energy:- we should be more dependent on renewable sources of energy because their use do not generate any sort of pollution and also by this way we can conserve our limited amount of non-renewable energy resources like fossil fuels.
