Quality assessment is the measurement of technical and interpersonal aspect of healthcare and it's outcome. It is the first step in quality assurance but it does not guarantee errorless care. Quality assurance encompasses a full cycle of activities and systems for maintaining the quality of patient care. There occurs a cycle of events and that cycle involves a set of steps proceeding from identification and verification of quality-related problems and their causes to the implementation of solutions to the problems with the specific intent that the solution be long-lasting or preventive; these activities are followed by a timely review to determine if the problem has been solved and no new ones generated in the process. Quality assessment involves your behaviour, your way of working and handling the problems, your quick and effective solution so that the patient can get relief earlier. Quality assessment also promote your profession when working with effective and generalized approach to each circumstances.
Quality assessment involves the well subject knowledge, understanding of the problem of the patient, quick clinical approach toward problem, easy and effective treatment for patient care, regular inspection and quality check whether the medication is beneficial or not . The satisfaction of the patient matters many more. In this way the quality assessment can improve patient care when working with an individual.
