Andrew Jackson who was the 7th president of The United States of America served for only two terms in office which started from 1829 and lasted till 1837. One of the major achievements that can be counted as Jackson's success in his presidential conquests was that under his governance his party good help the United States to evolve from a Republic where only the landowners were given the right to vote, to a type of democratic institution where all white man who belong to to any social economic classes but given the right to vote and participate in the formation of government. It must be noted that the 19th century was not sensitive towards black Americans and other races which prevailed in the societies and treated them as a lower class. This resulted in exclusion of other races from the right to vote which give rise to discrimination up to a next level.
