The small island of Haiti relies heavily on food imports, but with prices soaring some Haitians are resorting to eating mud. The cookies- made of dirt,oil and salt hold little nutritional value, but manage to keep Haiti's poor alive.
​    Incorporating both Quantitative and Qualitative components in to the cookies study illustrates the differences in data collected esing three two approaches.
​    Hunger,disease,waste and poverty are often considered challenges for Philan thropists,not business. To address hunger,one group envisioned a cassava flour factory in nigeria,and other proposed an embroidery factory in haiti. people in Haiti are so poor they sometime stave off hunger by eating,accoring to a CNN news report that bottrie replayed for the group..Because of rising food prices,many in the crowed slums have resorted to eating this mud mixture to fill their stomach and stave off their hunger pains.
