We want to determine spesifications of very toxic fuel especially the particle diameters. After some studying we claim that the particle diameter is dp, exit speed is U, the liquid viscosity is u, surface tension is Y, density is p, the diameter of spraying injector exit is D. For a secure experiment we need to work with water. Design an experiment with water and determine the required conditions. Finally, for toxic fuel use the results of experiment for determining spesifications (especially the partical diameter) with mathematical expressions use dimensionless numbers if needed.

The spray characteristics of a highly toxic liquid fuel, especially particle their diameter is required. In the examination, the particle diameter dp, spray outlet rate U, liquid viscosity µ, surface tension Y, density ρ and spray it is suggested that the spray injector is connected to the outlet diameter D and is safe it is suggested that an experiment can be carried out with water, design and state the requirements for the creation of this experiment and obtain how to...

We burn fuels to extract heat. Some of the energy in the fuel is lost for practical purposes since it goes to the atmosphere with the hot combustion gases. The temperature that the combustion gases would attain if we did not extract any heat (Q=0) from the system is called the adiabatic flame temperature (Sometimes called Theoretical Flame Temperature, TFT). Find the adiabatic flame temperature for the combustion of CO with 100% excess air, if CO and dry air come...

Discuss how we can determine the distances, motions, apparent and real brightnesses, masses, diameters, densities, and temperatures of the stars, and discuss the normal range of values for each quantity. Show how we can use a Hertzsprung-Russell Diagram to discuss the characteristics of different kinds of stars, to determine stellar distances, and to study stellar evolution.

1. Translational motion (Particle in a box) We want to design an experiment about energy quantization of a hydrogen atom via radiating a light. It is needed to predict which range of light do we have to radiate to excite an electron. Let’s assume the electron feels same potential(V=0) in certain distance(L) from the nucleus of hydrogen. 1. Let’s assume L=5.30x10-11m, me(electron mass)=9.11x10-31kg and ℏ=1.05x10-34m2 kgs-1 . (a) Make a Hamiltonian for an electron in a hydrogen atom. (b) Solve...

In this module, we are studying capital budgeting as a tool to determine whether a long-term asset should be purchased. The process we follow could be used in other applications, such as the following: Mergers and acquisitions of companies, Decisions to expand or downsize a business, Decision to change jobs, Decision to take online courses, or Pricing a product. In this weeks discussion board, explain specifically how the capital budgeting tool could be modified to be used in one of...

There is no doubt we all have some strategies or techniques we use when we want to persuade others. There is something you want...or something you want someone to do. Maybe you're trying to change someone's opinion or the way they think. What is your preferred technique or strategy? Why does it work for you? Will it work in a formal persuasive speech? You already use persuasive techniques...let's talk about them.

In this case I want you to do some small capital budgeting projects. They are very minimal but will give you a better idea of how firms forecast and analyze to make decisions. The three tools are Payback Method, NPV, IRR. #1 Payback Method You want to purchase an expensive sonography machine that costs $200,000. Ignoring the time value of money and the cost of capital what would your payback period be if you had these cash flows over the...

Suppose that we want to determine whether or not amount of light exposure is linked to depression. We identify 5,000 participants across the United States with no intention of moving to a different permanent residence within the next two years and classify them as living in an area with high or low light exposure. We exclude those who are experiencing depression symptoms at baseline. We then follow them up for two years and determine whether they have experienced depression since...

When studying the Unemployment Rate, why do we want to consider and discuss Gross Domestic Product in relation?  What is the link between these two? Another way to think about this is "what are the roles that individuals play in an economy?" What do you think are some minsconceptions between the Unemployment Rate and how it is reported/the general publics understanding of it? How do you think these disconnects create tensions and larger societal issues when trying to implement policies to...
