Why do we go through the bother of classifying life? Give three reasons AND an example for each that relates your reason to the life of everyday people?

There are about millions of species on Earth. Classification of these life on Earth is important for us to understand the diversity in these species better , the similarities and differences among them , the evolution and adaptation of these species over a course of time.

• Classification helps us in convenient study about living organisms. Example : A student taking up zoology or botany as he enters graduation level. It allows to study the specific species.
• It helps us to know the origin and evolution of organisms. Example : It is only through this classification we know how we modern Homosapeins came into existence and how we evolved and our features changed as years passed and our ancestral origins.
• It gives Internationally recognized way of referring to a living organism. Example : A person who has migrated to other country and is mentioning about the arthropod species is being heard and the people there too knows about it as this classification is internationally same and it avoids confusion.

This is the reason of classification and how it is necessary in everyday life.
