Staphylococcus aureus is a round shaped gram positive bacterial species which mostly affects the upper respiratory tract and skin.It is an facultative anerobic.It causes skin and respiratory infections.It may cause minor and data diseases which range from pimples to pneumonia,sepsis,toxic shock syndrome etc.
Spreads through direct contact and from contamination.Antibiotics are used for treating this bacteria which include flucloxacilin,dicloxacillin, vancomycin, etc.
CLOSTRIDIUM BOTULINUM.
It is a rod shaped ,gram positive motile pathogenic bacteria.This bacteria forms dangerous botulinum toxin.It is an Anaerobe.It forms spores so that they can survive in conditions which are not suitable for their growth.
When people become infected with this they show blurred vision,weakness,slow heart rate etc.Spreading is not through person to person but the organism grows in person and release toxins through contamination of food etc.
Treatment include antitoxins and intubation is given as they cause problems to respiration.
