Expert Solution

"Every act of creation is, first of all, an act of destruction."

1- This quote by Pablo Picasso is indeed appealing and equally exceptional. He conveys that the prerequisite of creativity is "to destroy the preconceived notions, previous views/ attitudes/ perceptions and routine frameworks of our thought processes".

Unless we are capable of seeing the destruction of the above mentioned facets, we may not be truly able "to create" something.

Breaking the set convetions makes a person explore more and expands the horizons. This is how a person may initiate to travel into the unknown.

2- Yes, of course. It is definitely possible to apply Picasso's creative philosophy in the workplace.

3- This is because not only specifically the artistic work, but the routine work and functioning of any kind requires to destroy the preconceived notions.

It is then only possible to work with a new, novel, fresh mindset and that is how we may tend to experiment more. This phenomenon of working can bring better and more constructive outcomes.
