You have added an irreversible inhibitor to a sample of enzyme and substrate. At this point, the reaction has stopped completely. What is the best way to get the activity of the enzyme back up?
There is no way to get the enzyme's activity back up, and it is an irreversible inhibitor. They usually react chemically with the enzyme and render it forever ineffective. The active site can't separate from the inhibitor, and there is nothing to do.
The enzyme is inactive at this point. Nothing can be done except for adding a new enzyme.
