Explain how homophobia impacts both homose-xual men and heterose-xual men.
Homophobia is referred to the negative attitudes that people would be having toward individuals having homose-xual orientation. This may be in the form of aversion, prejudice, irrational fear or hatred. This would be observable and may also be in the form of hostile behaviors. In some cases, there have also been crimes or violence regarding people of the LGBTQ community.
This affects the people of the Heterose-xual community as they wouldn’t be able to accept people of different se-xual orientations, constantly discriminating against them.
This affects people of the homose-xual community as it causes minor stressors to them. This makes their life more difficult as neither are they able to live their life out of house in a smooth manner, nor does the stress make their family life happy, as constant conflicts take place. This then becomes an identity struggle
