Does the company goals are in alignment with other systems/subsystems?

My company is Siesta Hospitality Services Ltd. It was founded in 2005. It is a company that provides customized stay solutions for other companies. Till now it has more than 600 corporate clients.

Structural components:

  • Departments: HR, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations.
  • Chain of command: There is a departmental head who looks after each of the department and they report directly to the CEO.
  • The span of control: Tightly controlled environment where every activity is much proctored.
  • The organization is very much centralized.
  • Work specialization: Every employee has a particular duty to perform based upon which they are measured at the end of the year.
  • Formalization: It is a very much formal organization. The work culture is good with positiveness arising from the behavior of employees.

Operating components:

  • Area managers: they are responsible for managing a few particular properties in any area.
  • Housekeepers and stewardess: They are responsible for managing the properties at ground level.
  • Operation head: He is responsible for managing the operations of the guest at the country level.

Flow components: Sales bring in more business, finance handles the billing part and collecting the money, HR handles that employee disputes as well as maintaining a good relationship among the employees.

Input components are:

  • Feedbacks from the guests.
  • Finance from the client companies
  • Requirements from the sales team for elevating the service levels.
  • purchases from the vendors.

Output components are the service that we provide to the client companies.

Attributes are its unique proposal that it offers to the clients. It proposes an idea but not a product that is very customizable to any client. This is the main USP of the solution that my company offers.
