How can you determine when a partnership is necessary? Give an example of a public-private-nonprofit partnership that is necessary and one that is not necessary. Explain why one is necessary, while the other is not.
One can determine that partnership of a public and private enterprises is necessary when it is resulting into benefits of the general public and it is leading to growth of the general public worth so they will be trying to maximize the public interest and protect the public interest through entering into a public-private partnership.
public private partnership will always be necessary only when there is net present value of projects undertaken for the benefits of the public, and they will be having better understanding.
Example of public private nonprofit partnership can be seen in Namami gange project in India in which government of India has authorised private Enterprise to get into partnership with public interprises in order to clean the rivers of Ganges.
Example of private public partnership when it is done mostly for the purpose of fulfillment of statutory contract,it is not important in nature like when it is done for preparation of some transportation related projects for infrastructure related products then these are not that important if they are just statutory in nature.
