Chi buys a second hand contract law book from nina for $50. After he hands over the money to nina chi notice someone writing on the book. He asks nina for an assurance that the book is unmarked as he wants to take the book into examination room. Nina gives chi suchas an assurance. It transpires that the book has a number of pages with highlights and some writing. Chi wants his money back, identifying the relevant issues on consideration and discuss whether chi is entitled to get his money back.
Chi asked for an pledge that the book is immaculate later he saw some writing on the side of the book. Since he acquired such information, he is at bad faith for requesting the guarantee to Nini. So, Chi is not eligible to his money back for the reason that he attained information of the writings on the book and still asked for assurance that the book is unmarked.
