Solution : Electromagnetic induction is the process of inducing current in a metal without the use of battery . But definitely we have to use some source of emf to have current. Because current is present due to emf or potential difference.Potential difference would allow the current to flow in the circuit from high potential to low potential .
Take a circular loop and move a magnet in and out rapidly we will see that as long as we continue to do this current will be induced and this can be checked by connecting bulb in series with it.And this is accordance Faraday's law of Induction.
PRINCIPLE: By changing the magnetic field continuously through a conductor with time produces a Potential drop .
Moreover as fast as we move the magnet or faster we change the magnetic field more will be the magnitude of Current induced.
And electromagnetism is producing a magnet with the help of electricity.Consider a Solenoid carrying current ,it will produce magnetic field along it's axis though being non uniform .And now if we place an iron rod in its core then it will get magnetized .This is called electromagnetism .
