To transient and traditional artistic streams, in what way might encounters with transcendent music or art become a meaningful, inspiring, and valuable part of life?

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer.

Traditional and transient arts represent genres which are focussed on restoring a sense of harmony and balance through old and unchnaging styles of visuality, sound compositions, etc. inherent within the practices of the followers of these two aesthetic schools is the belief that arts such as paintings and music can be powerful and effective ways to establish a connection between the imperfections of material world and the ideal perfect version of reality of the higher or spiritual world. It is in this context that transcendental music and art are seen as crucial ‘tools’ by transient and traditional artists.

The idea is that it creates reverberations within the soul of the viewer/ listener, making one feel like we are actually there for a moment — not because of how it looks, but because of how it makes us feel. The art isn’t there just to look good. Rather it exists to make an impression.
