Actually a database administrator is who controls or maintain all the flow of datas into and from the database system of company. The main responsibility for this man is keep the accuracy and consistency of the data over their total validity,and also the overall security of the database from any unauthorised persons.

A DBA expert should have a great knowledge in their area and also the type of business which theyvare dealing with.

There are 2 type of DBA exists.

• ADBA OR application Database administrator who have great knowledge in programming skills and will use so many programming stuffs in their job.
• SBA or system database administrator who use physical and technical range of information in their job.

Now let we know what is the key roles for a DBA:

1. Main role of DBA is security and monitoring the database :the database administrator will regularly monitor and analyse the database and data flows to make sure there is no loop holes or in consistency in the database architecture.
2. Regularly check for new modeling techniques for upgrade the current database architecture to a more simpler one.
3. Decide the users who can access the data and who cannot access the data in the database.
4. Will monitor the storage for better performance.
