Electrnoc communication refers to ise of internet based modalities and telecommunication to communicate with each other. Some of rhe common electronic communiation merhods includes use of emails, telephonic conversations, group comferences throigh calls and sharing of information through software and IT systems.

Electronic communication is seen to have develope dover last two decades and has enhanced its roots into the workplace system today. It has made the lives of an individual less hectic by saving lot of time and developing better strategies to share information ans communicate. Simultaneously, this system has eradicated the importance of face to face communication. Enhanced use of electronic communication has led to an era where few meters of distance between the employees is also communicated through electronic media sources. It is seen that this development has impacted the traditional ways of communication. Researchers state that face to face communication is an important part in workplace and life as it helps understand the non verbal gestures of the individual and also enables building a rapport. These contexts are taken up through electronic communication methods.

Hence, electronic commication has some advantages but also has some limitations for contemporary world.
