Reflect on what you have learned about living arrangements for the aging population. What has changed? What has remained the same? If you had to live in a facility for the aging, what would be your primary concern?
I live in India and it has got enormous population, ranging from children to youth and old aged people. The old people have got old age homes but the conditions of these homes is very poor. It is slowly improving, earlier it was Indian culture strictlly believed in keeping the their parents with them, but in between like in 80s and 90s there was cultural drift and the grandparents saw themselves more appropriate or in bettercondition in old age homes and at home.
Today there are many good old age homes compared to earlier, and their conditions is also more better, These days there is lot os social awareness of celebrating festivals, birthdays etc in old age homes or in orphange, by giving them food and celebrating with them. There also many NGOs compared to earlier which supply grocessary and clothing quite regularly. Hence I can say the old age homes are in good condition than before.
My primary concern would be the sanitary, or the cleanliess, I would never want myself to live an old age home, I would prefer to live in small house. The diseases or the contagious diseases would be my primary concern.
Almost all people pray, the main science or logic behind praying is to keep quiet or to maintain silence for some mins, in order to save energy before start of any work. This also helps in concentration, focusing and increases patience towards activities
