Solutions

Expert Solution

Step-1

The efective area of cognition is located in structure of hind brain( medulla, pons, cerebellum) and midbrain .In Cognition area, superior brain function like reasonning, memory , attention controlled by the Hemisphere. Cognitive skill are supported by sepecific neuronal networks.Memory skills rely on parts on the temporal lobes and parts of the frontal lobe. The cerebreum is another part of human brain structure which is majorly related to cognition area of thinking .Besides the area of cognitive funtion or mental process that allows to recieve , select, store , transform , develop and recover information that we have received from external stimuli could stuided effectivly by viewing structure or funtion of human brain.Central nervous system which majorly contribute in thinking , remembering , reasoning and talking etc also studied in view of funtioning human brain regading as area of cognition .

Step-2

A researcher might use several technique to study in the area of cognition.

The scientific Method:

The scientific process can began with simple observation . A set of observation analysed may lead to develop theory.from this theory, researcher may derive theory.a research design has developed to test hypothesis and finally brings conclusion and findings .so in this way, people cognition area stuided in this way.

Experimental Design:

A researcher manipulate variable in order to see what effect it has on another varible .here students are divided into two group two measure their cognitive ability regarding problem sovling.on the basis of performance, researcher draw conclusion which group have good cognitive development or not.

Corelation Design :

In the corelational design, the researcher is interested in a possible relationship between two varible .I might hypothesis that IQ score and working memory capasity are positively related .besides , corelation technique helps to study the area of cognition like thinking , remembering , decision making through association of variable.
