Many manufacturers I want that the customer aren't able to repair the devices themselves to any local nearby shops because they certainly want to charge cost for the repairing of devices basically from them which is sometimes more than the exact device costs. So, right to repair legislation wants manufacture to provide genuine tools, parts with real documentation to its customers. There is no law basically but many cities or States have introduced this legislation to protect its customers. Currently in us nearly 17 States have introduced this legislation and many cities are gaining the stream.
This concept was basically from the United States which was passed firstly for motor vehicles' right to repair act in 2012, which stated that automobiles manufacturer should provide documentation and basic information to customers, whoever wants to get there device repair. The right to repair means that customers are permitted to repair their devices by themselves rather than getting it repaired from the particular manufacturers or buyers only.
It is often seen that on devices various cautious or damaged stickers are there on devices that might scare customers to open the seal. Legally, unwrapping those stickers won't void the warranty of devices. Many companies or manufacturers uses those stickers so that customers don't repair or modify the device themselves rather go to manufacturers for tools and parts to get repaired.
