Any industry or any kind of work done by any company will involve quality assurance. This is not because it is a part of the project but because it is important to make sure that the work we do or the project we are delivering meets the required quality standards. The success of the business depends a lot on the customer satisfaction and this can be achieved only by delivering quality work. The customers trust a company and give a project expecting their requirements to be met. So the company that is working on the project might be a market leader and might have delivered thousands of similar projects successfully. But still, they keep quality assessment as a part of their project execution. They do not want to take any risk even if they have done quality work. A small flaw in the system developed can affect the business of the customer in a negative way and damage their brand image. So the companies make sure they have systems that are robust and trustworthy. As a quality expert, I want my team to deliver excellence every single time and I give importance to quality assessment because I want my customer to be happy with the work we have done. A perfect product delivered can bring more projects to the company and result in increased revenue. Every single functionality of a product will have its own importance in the business process and it can make a big impact when it does not function as per the business requirements. Knowing what kind of quality standards we have maintained will also give the company an opportunity to know what are the gaps in their current process. They can make changes to their quality assurance process and fill those gaps immediately to improve the effectiveness. The continuous improvement will result in increases skillset of the employees and convert them into subject matter experts in quality assessment. All these factors make the quality improvement and assessment for a quality expert in any company.
