Yes, the movie "Wolves of Wall Street" is about strategic
management at some point. It was always how to strategize the
entire system of making trade and receiving profits, from the way
the first call was made, the upselling was done, the people were
motivated to put in the money, the bars were staked, and the bids
were made. Jordan Belfort was able to be a rich person and make the
people along with him reach great heights because he was a good
leader. he was able to bring in the people, train them to do the
bidding, and make sales because he was a master of strategic
management. He looked at the work ethic and the personality of the
people and turned a go-down into the richest office in no time. he
was able to strategize the entire situation, the work, the things
to be achieved and the path to be followed.
The movie does not have an abrupt ending but did have a surprising
one. In the ending Jordan Belfort is seen to come back after the
three-year sentence to teach marketing to a bunch of people. Post
the motive, everyone believed that he would come back to do trading
again and raise a new set of people but it is shown he has retired
to be a sales professor. It was surprising to see him give up on
trading.
Also, the time when he had picked up some random people from a
go-down to start the entire trading center and rose those few
people into millionaires was one of the strange events which could
be seen. It was thrilling to see some random people turn into best
traders who were strategically managed by Jordan.
