Social determinants are conditions in which people are born, grow and live and work. These determine quality of life and its impacts.
Income largely affects health and affordability to cure diseases. Education is extremely important as this helps in preventing health diseases and gives awareness to health consciousness. Food too is important as nutrition forms base for health and safety. Housing helps one protect from harsh climatic conditions and improves mental condition. Transportation helps one get better access to income and education and hence his health improves because of higher income.
All these are basic needs and should not be treated as life goals. This should be fundamental right for all individuals as per WHO report. Governments of various countries have been introducing various healthcare prevention and education and job development programs to boost economy and raise health standards.
