How might the control of cognitive processing be achieved through implicit learning?

Implicit learning is referred to as a process that occurs in a ubiquitous manner in cognition. Though, a definition of implicit learning has not been established, there has been a progress intne understanding of it. As a result of implicit learning, there would be associative learning which would be dependent on the environment for generation of representations which would help in generation of knowledge representations that are highly specific.

There has been increasing research about cognitive control and implicit learning. It has been found that implicit knowledge would not be helping in an improvement of control which are not based on learning. Also, the direction of information is important. Though, as a result of conflict, there would be an impact on the implicit learning expression. This is because most amount of knowledge had been expressed in case when there was high conflict.

Also, as a result of implicit sequence knowledge, there would be an increase in the reliance of task optimisation.
