As sport organizations plan to return to play following the pandemic, it is expected that the process of sport marketing will change. In your opinion, what will be the most significant changes to sport marketing?
It's definitely true that the process of sport marketing will change when sport organizations will return to play following the pandemic.
The most significant changes will be-
1- The finalisation of the dates for the matches/ events will be a very complicatrd task as the current COVID- 19 scenariono conveys the care to be taken by masses for at least six months following the pandemic.
2- The sitting arrangement of the viewers/ audience will be a very tough task as the social distancing is to be maintained.
3- People in general will not be as curious and ethusiastic towards sports events as they were for the next year because of the fear they possess towards COVID- 19.
4- The sports marketing organisations will have to concentrate on the segmentation concept as some of the segments, more prone to COVID- 19 like children, adolescents and old people (around sixty years old) will not be able to be present as viewers.
5- There may even be the complaints and legal cases to be filed by the people in general towards organisations organising sports events. Thus, they will have to be preared to deal with the legal issues.
