In class, I claimed that most people who can understand the details of football can understand rocket science. Many people are interested in football, and few people are interested in rocket science.

However, very few people interested in football actually have a career as a professional football player. Likewise, few people have careers as rocket scientists. Yet why are so many more people are interested in football than rocket science?

I claimed that the reasons concerned the way that football and rocket science were portrayed by advertising and marketing.

State whether you agree with this claim, and be sure to provide reasons why or why not

Answer)

I don't agree with your claim and this is just my opinion. Coming to the football it is more art performed for the main purpose to entertain people more than winning world cups. Moreover it is less complicated compared to Rocket science. Understanding football doesn't need skill but understanding rocket science need somewhat knowledge on science. For example we have many successful experiments which is performed by under graduates like Newton,Edison, Einstein and so on but No person launched a rocket directly although many of their theories indirectly used in rocket launch. Hence, without good knowledge over science it is difficult to get entertained by such Rocket science. Coming to football, it is a good game however it need good skill that wow element that is possessed by ronaldo to,Messi etc be a successful football star which common Man like me who understands football need to do great hardwired to be a football player.
