Freewriting is a writing strategy developed by Peter Elbow in 1973.
It is like brainstorming but there are some differences
It is written in sentence and paragraph form without stopping
So freewriting
*increases the flow of ideas
*increases the flow of local language efficiently
Freewriting processing includes
* writing down every idea you can think of about your
topic
*no concern or worry about correct grammar or spelling
*can you use "native" language occasionally
In Peter Elbow's original formulation of freewriting, designed to generate not only ideas but even a topic, the writer writes for a few minutes, chooses one idea or word from that freewriting and then free write about that new topic for several minutes, and then repeats that process again, successively refining their topic. This process can be a useful one if you are truly starting from scratch and are not even sure what you want to write your paper about.
The rhetorical mode used is narration , where the user narrates his ideas into a paper or books.this can be any ideas , or thoughts or descriptions in his own words. The naarator use his own local languages to express the content to get an originality to the content
