Here we will discuss the strategic tactical, operational roles of procurement along with the procurement steps.

Procurement can be defined as all the work related to the goods and services in an organization. these works are specially done in the organization to make sure there is no further obstacle in success. There can be the various role of procurement to be done in an organization such as:-

1) STRATEGIC ROLE OF PROCUREMENT:- strategic role of procurement is those which are performed to make sure that the form stays on position 1 when comparing itself and being the part of the competition in the market. some of the strategic procurement activities include single sourcing. These strategic roles of procurement are proved to be very useful for the organization.

2) TACTICAL ROLE OF PROCUREMENT:- Tactical role of procurement is that approach which is mainly opted by the small scale business organization for a shorter time period. This approach for this role of procurement states that the price and the other strategies would be applied on the basis of a shorter time period.

3) OPERATIONAL ROLE OF PROCUREMENT:- the organizational role of procurement but state the working in the organization of day today. In this type of procurement role, the work takes place according to a regular and chronological day-to-day basis.
