Population standard deviation = = 0.08

Sample size = n = 104

At 97% confidence level the z is ,

= 1 - 97% = 1 - 0.97 = 0.03

/ 2 = 0.03 / 2 = 0.015

Z/2 = Z0.015 = 2.17

Margin of error = E = Z/2* ( /n)

= 2.17 * (0.08 / 104)

= 0.017

At 97% confidence interval estimate of the population mean is,
