Based on the scientific management theory, what are some of the routines in health care that seem to be inefficient?
Scientific management theory aimed to work towards to achieve the goal of employer, employee and the customer satisfaction. It is introduced by Frederick W.Taylor. Applicatiopn of this theory helps in improving productivity, quality of patient care, employee incentives and make a drive for employer-employee and patients satisfaction.
Some of the routine in health care are of deficient were Lack of qualified nurses, Staffing inadequacies, Staff retention, lack of resources etc.
What examples of participative decision making exist in your workplace?
Eg:Shared Governance and Unit Based Councils
Team members participation and engagement resulting in standardization and quality in provided care
Promotes multidisciplinary team involvement resulting in good outcomes
Saves time and energy
Goal driven and provide sense of gratitude
