The candidates have better idea of the skills and type of work they have to do and plan their career accordingly with the organisation. The candidates will perform better and the company can evaluate their performance.
Disadvantages of providing post assignment guarantees for job can lead the candidate to become confident and satisfied with their type of work and performance without trying for any improvement since they have been given guarantee for jobs after assignment. Also,all the candidates may not be interested to work with the organisation in long term and the job offer do not interest them to work for a longer time in jobs. They may not be motivated to work and stand to get lesser benefits than others who are getting post assignment job guarantee.
