Culture can be defined as the rituals, social customs , beliefs, tradition,language etc which are shared by a community of people , collectively. It is an abstract instinct created by people to survive and evolve as a social animal. Culture often leads to the creation of a society who shares the same cultural values. This cultural bond can be racial, ethical,humanitarian, gendered or based on shares ideology and conventions. For example, every time you meet an Indian, they would greet you by folding their hands together and say 'namaste'. This is deeply embeeded in the Indian religious culture of greeting a stranger.

Plagiarism - When you use another author's ideas,thoughts, words and narratives , without referencing them and classify their work as your own, it is called plagiarism. It also involves paraphrasing another author's work , without acknowledging them for their work. It is an academic dishonesty and must be avoided in order to produce an original work.

Intellectual property - It can be defined as the ownership of intangible assets which includes ideas, softwares, designs, art work, technology etc. These non-physical intangible assests are protected under law and order, which includes copyrights, patents,trademarks, logos etc. For example, the logo of Nike which is a tick mark(a famous Greek symbol of victory).

Hate speech - Hate speech can be defined as a verbal attack on a community or people, who are viewed as the 'other'. This discrimination and prejudice can be on the basis of race, gender , sexual orientation, religion, disability etc. For example , when Milo Yiannopoulos was giving a speech at a College Republicans event, he said, "Feminism is a cancer". It is an example of hate speech as it offends, incites and degrades the ideology and struggles of women community .

Internet crime-Internet crime is defined as any illegal online activity via the internet which involves identity theft, illegal downloads, monetary scams, cyber stalking, cyber bullying etc. Laws and legislation has taken various step to deal with internet criminal activities. It involves building a department of security experts, IT field to secure technology and cyber crime cell to dismantle cyber stalking and violence against women etc .

Whistle blowing -

When a formeror existing employee of any corporation uses his voice of dissent to question the unethical policies of the corporation and release this information to the general public , it is called whistle blowing and the person is called a whistle blower. This is usually done in the best of interest for the general public and their protection of civil rights. For example, when Edward Snowden, who formerly worked for CIA released classified information that NSA is tapping every call and spying on every American, thereby breaching their right to privacy, he was termed as a whistle-blower .
