Brand revitalization is nothing but a marketing strategy adopted by the brands to come back in the market due to the maturity stage which it has achieved with falling profits in the market. To secure its customers the company or brands do this activity.

A practical example would be seen for brands like Mountain Dew and Harley Davidson.

Need for revitalization – Due to competition in the market, technology contribution, M&A that happens (i.e. merger and acquisition), Legal issues, Globalization and their relevance.

My approach considering the product and brand would be to introduce new tagline that could appeal to the audiences or certain specific age group people as an intention to make them a target customer segment. Apply a new and improved reinforcement strategy focusing on brand revitalization to counter some uncontrolled factors like competition in the market, change of taste while fulfilling the legal requirements.
