Dissociative Identity Disorder should be considered a real disorder or merely a byproduct of defective psychotherapy? Why? Give at least two reasons for your opinion.
Dissociative personlality disorder also known as multiple personlality Disorder where a person show two or more distinict personlality. For example , a person show one kind personlality in one situation where after some period of time he exibit another kind of behaiour or personlalityin same situation .he doesn't have stabllity in personality.some people express it as possession.it also caused memory loss .so it should called real ddisorder. It reflects a failure of integrate various aspects of identity , memory and conciousness into a single multiple dimensional self.

Disassociative identity disorder is real disorder in the following reason
1. It involves frequent change in sense of self , sense of self- conciousness and memory , perception as well as cognition disruptively with identity.even they have suddenly depersonalize observer of their own speach and action and no control over it.so genuinely it doesn't show phenomena of balanced personlality .so it is called as a real disorder .
2. more than 70% people who suffered in disassociative Identify disorder have attempted to suicide .they also feels sudden impulses strong emotion and their body suddenly feel diffrent like small child, muscular etc.even they are frequently forget the people around him , past history etc .so this behaiour tend to a serious and real disoder.
