I am planning to work for a MNC organization, which has large domestic production set ups in engine and its key components in the Pune, India. The Company has headquartered at Columbus US, IT had around 60 manufacturing plant which are engaged in the manufacturing of engine and engine strategic components. It has around 30000 employees across the globe. The key competency of the company is engine and its component’s design, development, manufacturing and service in the global market.
The company has functional structure at the country level and matrix structure in the corporate level, hence it has a hybrid structure of functional and matrix.
It had production and the global functional processs and job profiles which are suitable for most of the global functions at most of the global countries. Functions like Research and development, Product engineering, application engineering, Sales and Marketing, Project Management, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain management, Purchasing, IT & Systems, HR & Admin , Finance and Accountings etc.
