• Data Governance is the management of all data of an organisation.
• It has 6 phases like Cultural tone of data driven, data access,sdata stewardship,data quality,data utilisation and data acquisition
• It has 4 pillar namely Data stewardship,data quality,data management,and use of cases
• It is under a governin body or a council
• It masters the entire data of the organisation

Information governance:

• It is the management of the information of the organisation
• here employees can handle the information electronically through information policies and procedures.
• it balances the use and security of information of patients and the administration
• It helps in maitaining operational transperancy, meets lega compliance,decreases expenditure
• determines the people , resources, functions,processes and technology requirement of the organizational information.
• it reduces the risk that information poses
• increase the value of information

According to AHIMA IG means managing information throughout its life cycle and supporting an oeganization completely.
