A decision support system, can help the government to work and spend in those areas that creates employment requiring skills that are posed by the people. It will bring a structural change in the country that will be positive and it will create more employment. Here, the decision support system will have the data of unemployed people in terms of their skills, experience and abilities. These data will be correlated with the needs and demand of different industries. The industry most suitable to give jobs for these people, should be promoted and government should spend as well. Users of the these decision support system are government agencies, responsible for job creation, government departments and employment exchange among the others.
There are different factors affecting the unemployment. The first factor is the gap between the skills owned by the people and the skills in demand by the industries. Reducing the gap, will increase the employment. The second factor is the technologies and its disruptive nature, demanding a completely different skill sets after each few years. readying people according to these changes will reduce the unemployment. The third factor is the focus upon creating demand and helping firms to produce. It will ultimately create jobs and people will get employed.
