The financial world and business will be much different 30 years from now. If we compare the financial world in 1990 and present year we can understand a lot has changed, similarly in future also there will be many breakthroughs and fine tuning happening in the financial world.

The major concepts of Finance like M&M proposition, CAPM model, DCF valuation, Multiple valuation etc will be still the no 1 tools for Financial analyst and researchers , however most of these time consuming process will be automated using AI technology. The major role of top financial persons will be that of a coordinator or decision maker rather than a analyst. All the probable outcomes of a project or proposal will be easily handled by the technology after 30 years and major financial persons just need to manage and do the decision making process.

Fintech will be more well defined and consolidated by 30 years. As you can see now, there are lot of Fintech companies and products emerging and many are unrealistic in expectation. Ideas that are really strong will prosper and others will fall. Banks also will be reducing the no of Branches in the location and go for Fintech solutions because of its profitability. Offline mode of account opening, loan approval etc completely transfer into online mode.

There will be technological subjects included in the curriculum apart from the basic courses we study. As per the current scenario, technological course will not be merged with basic finance even after 30 years as it may dilute the students basic understanding of the finance. However, the accounting part weight in curriculum will be significantly reduced as it will be mostly automated by 30 years.
