Tesla Cybertruck is an electric pick-up truck. This pick-up truck was unveiled on November 2019. It's body design is based on unibody design. Cybertruck is really a revolutionary product in Automobile sector especially on Pick-up truck segment. It has a range of 250 to 500 miles which is a pretty good range for electric cars. Like in all other models the range of vehicle is good. So, by considering the above reasons we can conclude that Cybertruck will definitely be successful in its segment.

Disruption of truck industry due to Cybertruck:-

  • Comparing the Cybertruck with Ford F-150 which is one of the most successful Pick-up truck in US Market in terms of performance, during the launch Elon Musk has showed that Cybertruck has better performance than Ford F-150. Ford is planning to launch a hybrid F-150 truck in nearby future and an electric version of it later on.
  • The body of Cybertruck is made from ultra hard stainless steel which is resistant from Dents, damage and corrosion. This is the same material used in Tesla's Space X project. All other automobile manufacturers are using Aluminium for body of vehicles.
  • Rivian is another electric vehicle manufacturers also launched their truck which will be competitive to Cybertruck.
  • Tesla already being a well established company have its own customer base is already a way ahead from all automobile manufacturers in electric vehicle segment, any company entering into this segment will definitely has to beat Tesla first.
