  1. A round composite bar is used to conduct heat. It is held at 600K at one end and 1000K at the other end but all other surfaces are insulated. The two end pieces of the bar are Stainless Steel (AISI304), and the middle piece is Copper. The length of each piece of the bar is 0.2m (total length is 0.6m) and the diameter is 0.07m. Generate an x-y plot of the temperature distribution along the center axis of the bar (plot T vs x). Select your own values for T1 and T2. Assume zero contact resistance between the sections.
  2. Solve this problem by hand and provide a plot of the temperature distribution for the composite bar. Include your hand calculations in your deliverable. You can use equation editor or include a photo of your paper if your handwriting is tidy and the picture is properly cropped
