Internet + (Plus) is a Chinese action plan developed for integration of the Internet (Mobile, cloud network, Big data, or IoT) with conventional industries that do not use the internet as a resource. This can be seen as similar to the terms, Industrial Internet and Industry 4.0 proposed by the US and Germany respectively. This idea was first put forth by Ma Huateng and Yu Yang in 2013 to extend the IT business into the services sector. In 2015 Li Keqiang made it a national strategy to boost growth. The aim is to upgrade the conventional industries to the modern era of technology.
As advised above Internet plus is nothing but the integration of traditional industries with the internet by providing them internet platform and IT technologies. In 2015, Alibaba, Baidu, and Tencent joined hands to promote this strategy. Other examples of Internet plus users companies are:
58.com and Ganji
taobao.com
Jingdong
Alipay
Jiayuan
Didi Dache
